The selection process for RBI JE Recruitment 2025 includes the following stages. Candidates who qualify in the online examination will need to appear for a Language Proficiency Test (LPT), which will be conducted in the Official/Local Language(s) of the respective zone of RBI.
The RBI Junior Engineer Exam will be conducted in an online mode. The exam consists of 180 multiple-choice questions for a total of 300 marks. Candidates must qualify separately for each part of the objective test. The online test (except for the Test of English Language) will be conducted bilingually, in both English and Hindi. Negative marking applies, with 1/4 mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

The selected candidates for RBI Junior Engineer posts will receive a starting basic pay of Rs. 33,900 per month. This includes a basic pay of Rs. 20,700, along with nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers, within the pay scale of Rs. 20,700 – 1200 (3) – 24,300 – 1440 (4) – 30,060 – 1920 (6) – 41,580 – 2080 (2) – 45,740 – 2370 (3) – 52,850 – 2850 – 55,700. The total monthly gross salary, including allowances, is approximately Rs. 71,032. In addition to the basic pay, the salary package includes various government-mandated perks and allowances, such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Medical Insurance, and more.
