Candidates must have proficiency in Odia language, demonstrated by:
Passing Middle School Examination with Odia as a subject.
Passing HSC or equivalent with Odia as a medium of instruction.
Passing Class VII Odia exam from a recognized school.
Passing an Odia test conducted by the School & Mass Education Dept., Odisha.
