The Candidates who have successfully cleared the computer-based examination (CBE) for General Duty Constable positions will advance to the Physical Test, designed to assess their physical fitness and capabilities. This test includes both the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The SSC GD Constable Physical Test 2024 is scheduled to take place in August 2024, following the announcement of the SSC GD Result 2024 for the written exam on July 10, 2024.

The Physical Test for candidates who passed the written exam will be conducted at various locations specified by the Central Armed Police Forces. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) aims to fill 26,146 vacancies for General Duty Constable positions in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) through this recruitment drive.

  • Height: Minimum 162.5 cm

Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas, and Candidates from Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir:

  • Height: Minimum 165 cm

SSC GD PST Requirements for Female Candidates in 2024

The SSC GD Physical Standard Test (PST) for female candidates does not include chest measurements. Instead, the primary focus is on height requirements, which vary based on categories and regions.   • Candidates other than Ladakh Region: 5 km race in 24 minutes
  • Ladakh Region: 1.6 km race in 7 minutes

SST GD Constable 2024 PET Requirements for Female Candidates:

  • Candidates other than Ladakh Region: 1.6 km race in 8½ minutes
  • Ladakh Region: 800 meters race in 5 minutes
