The OSSC LTR Teacher Prelims Exam 2025 is qualifying in nature. The structure is as follows:

Marking Scheme: +1 for each correct answer, -0.25 for each wrong answer.
Candidates qualifying for the Prelims will appear in the Main Written Examination. The final selection is based on the marks secured in the main exam and certificate verification.
TGT Teachers:
Graduation in the relevant subject with 50% marks.
B.Ed. or 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Hindi Teacher:
Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects or equivalent.
Sanskrit Teacher:
Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as a subject.
Physical Education Teacher (PET):
12th pass and a C.P.Ed./B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed. qualification.
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 38 years (as of 1st January 2024)
Relaxations:
SC/ST/SEBC/Women: 5 years
PwD: 10 years
Selected candidates will receive the following pay scale:

The selection process comprises three stages:
Preliminary Examination (Objective): Qualifying in nature.
