GATE 2025 Exam Pattern

The GATE 2025 exam will be a computer-based test lasting 180 minutes (3 hours). The exam includes sections with MCQs, Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. There is no negative marking for MSQ/NAT questions, but wrong answers in MCQs will incur penalties.

Marks Distribution:

• General Aptitude: 15 marks
• Engineering Mathematics: 13 marks (for all papers except AR, CY, DA, EY, GG, MA, PH, ST, XH, and XL)
