Chennai Corporation Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualifications

Medical Officer: MBBS degree from a UGC-recognized university or institution. The degree must be approved by the Medical Council of India and registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council/National Medical Council.

Staff Nurse: Diploma in GNM or BSc Nursing from a government or government-approved private nursing college recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, and registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.

MPHW/ Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector Grade-II):

• Must have passed higher secondary education with Biology/Botany and Zoology.
• Tamil language must have been studied at the SSLC level.
• Must have completed a two-year Multipurpose Health Worker/Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector course from a recognized institution or trust, including training provided by Gandhigram Rural Institute.

Support Staff: Minimum education of 8th Standard.

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit is 50 years.
