Age Limit:
- Candidates born between January 2, 2004, and July 2, 2007 (both dates inclusive).
- If a candidate successfully clears all selection stages, the upper age limit at the time of enrollment should be 21 years.
Qualification:
- Candidates should have completed 10+2 or possess a Diploma in a relevant engineering field.
Physical Standards:
- Height: 152.5 cms for male candidates; 152 cms for female candidates. For North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a minimum height of 147 cms is accepted. For candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height is 150 cms.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Chest: Minimum chest for male candidates: 77 cms with a chest expansion of at least 05 cms. Female candidates should have a well-proportioned chest with a minimum expansion of 05 cms.
- Hearing: Normal hearing required (able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 06 meters by each ear separately).
- Dental: Healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
Visual Standards:
- Visual Acuity: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye.
- Maximum limits of Refractive error: Hypermetropia: +2.0D, Myopia: 1D including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism.
- Colour Vision: CP-II
