• A medical qualification recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
• Registration with the Central/State Medical Council.
• Postgraduate degree such as MD/MS/DNB/MDS or DM, MCH in the relevant specialty or its equivalent.
• For Non-Medical candidates, a Masters degree (MSc.) in the concerned subject and Ph.D. from a recognized university.
